Vilius Kazlauskas is the Owner/Operator of Convenient Car Care, a family-owned automotive repair business serving drivers in Vista, California, and the surrounding North County area. With 18 years of experience in the automotive repair industry, Vilius has built his career around hands-on technical knowledge, practical problem-solving, and an understanding of the maintenance and repair needs that keep vehicles operating safely and reliably.

His automotive career began well before he became a business owner. While still in high school, Vilius attended automotive classes and worked in a repair shop, giving him an early opportunity to combine classroom learning with practical experience. Those formative years established the foundation for a career that would eventually lead him to open his own automotive repair shop.

Building a Career From the Repair Shop Up

One of the most influential parts of Vilius’s early career was spending eight years under the mentorship of a Master Technician. Working closely with an experienced technician allowed him to continue developing the technical foundation he had begun building through his automotive classes and repair shop experience.

Rather than entering the industry only after completing his schooling, Vilius was already gaining hands-on experience while attending high school. Over time, automotive repair developed from an area of study into his long-term profession.

As his experience grew, Vilius began servicing vehicles independently during nights and weekends. This period became another important step in his professional development and ultimately preceded the opening of his own shop in 2016.

Since then, Vilius and his team have worked on more than 25,000 vehicles. Today, Convenient Car Care provides automotive maintenance and repair services for drivers in Vista and throughout San Diego North County. His background allows him to understand automotive service from several perspectives. He began as a student learning about vehicles, gained practical experience working in a repair shop, spent eight years learning under a Master Technician, serviced vehicles during nights and weekends, and eventually became the Owner/Operator of Convenient Car Care.

His technical education has never been limited to a single stage of his career. It began with automotive classes in high school and continued through real-world repair shop experience and eight years of mentorship under a Master Technician. That progression provided a foundation that Vilius continued to develop as he began servicing vehicles independently and eventually opened his own automotive business.

Although automotive work has been a major part of Vilius’s life since high school, his interests extend beyond the repair shop. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family.

He is also interested in fishing, snowboarding, and motorsports. These activities give him several ways to spend his time away from the day-to-day responsibilities of operating an automotive repair business, while motorsports maintain a connection to his longstanding interest in vehicles.
